Our Friday morning is off to a great start! We got word that we received the endorsement of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 617. This endorsement, along with others, shows my commitment to the hard working men and women of South San Francisco. I will continue to fight for fair wages, affordable housing, and to advance the rights of all workers. Our campaign’s momentum and energy will help lead us to victory! I’m fired up, ready to go!!!
Major campaign announcement: Our campaign has been endorsed by the San Mateo County Democratic Party! I am honored to be included with an esteemed group of dedicated and passionate Democratic leaders. This endorsement is another indicator that our campaign continues to gain momentum and energy to carry us to victory. The San Mateo County Democratic Party endorsement adds to our growing list of supporters. For a full list, please visit my website at marknagales.com.
I’m continuing to work hard for you!!!
Getting ready to walk and speak to residents about our campaign again. I woke up this morning with so much energy and optimism.
Yes, our campaign continues to grow thanks to individual contributions from our neighbors. It’s great that our campaign continues to receive new endorsements from federal, state, and local elected officials, civic organizations, and business owners. I’m proud of the wide and diverse support that shows our campaign’s ability to work with various groups and individuals.
But the reason that I know we will win is because of you, the residents of South San Francisco.
This campaign is bigger than me. Our city is a family. We all have different opinions, but in the end, we all want what’s best. I think it’s great that so many residents have spoken to me about their ideas on how we can move our city forward. Being an elected official means you listen to everyone. I know that I will be that bridge for our city.
Our choice is clear on how we move our city forward. I’m fired up, ready to go walking. I’m never going to stop working hard for you!!!
Our campaign received some new endorsements that I am happy to announce. I am honored to receive the prestigious endorsement of BAYMEC, an important organization that continues to fight for LGBTQ rights. I stand with BAYMEC and its supporters to make sure that South San Francisco continues to be all-inclusive and welcoming. As a South San Francisco Councilmember, I will fight against all forms of discrimination. I will always be a friend and ally to the LGBTQ community.
Along with BAYMEC, I also received the endorsement of Teachers, AFT #3267. I look forward to working with our community’s teachers to advance education in South San Francisco and San Mateo County.
As I was preparing to go out and meet more residents, I got the good news that I received endorsements from the San Mateo County Building Trades Council, Teamsters 856, Teamsters 350, and the Teamsters Joint Council 7. If you see me walking around your neighborhood, come by and say hi! I’m continuing to work hard for you.
