I’ve been part of the South San Francisco community for over 30 years. My wife Amy and I are raising our two young children, Aidan & Josephine, in the community that we love. As Senior Aide to former Assemblymember Gene Mullin, and Constituent Services Director for Congresswoman Jackie Speier, I’ve assisted seniors, veterans, families, and children, including recovering over $5 million in veterans’ benefits.
As South San Francisco Planning Commissioner, I’ve advocated for affordable housing, smart development, and traffic reduction. As a former Parks and Recreation Commissioner, I spearheaded the popular Movie in the Park program and maintained affordable services.
I’m running to ensure that South San Francisco remains a safe, prosperous, and vibrant place for all families. That’s why I’ve been endorsed by over 100 supporters, including: Congresswoman Jackie Speier; State Senators Jerry Hill and Scott Wiener; Assemblymembers Kevin Mullin & Phil Ting; former Assemblymember Gene Mullin; San Mateo County Supervisors Carole Groom, Don Horsley, Dave Pine, & Warren Slocum; South San Francisco City Councilmembers Mark Addiego & Pradeep Gupta; the entire South San Francisco School Board, Parks & Recreation Commission, and Library Board; and various business owners and residents.
Together, we can bring a new voice to South San Francisco. I ask for your vote on November 6. Please visit marknagales.com to learn more.
